Plantients are sentient plants that inhabit the world of Terra A.D. Like pure strain humans, plantients walk upright and have prehensile appendages that allows them to manipulate and use complex tools. Plantients also manifest physical mutations like their mutant and Plantient counterparts. As well, plantients possess several unique traits specific to their class: plantients can recover spent luck points at twice the rate of normal humans due to their ability to excrete fragrance pheromones; they have natural thorn or spine attacks; and have the potential of being unseen in environments where plant life is abundant.

The last of the new Mutant Crawl Classics (MCC) character generators, the Plantient Character Generator Version 3, has launched and is available on Artifacts of the Ancient Ones; a fan site dedicated to Jim Wampler’s Mutant Crawl Classics role-playing game. The Plantient Character Generator Version 3 builds on the previous iterations of the MCC character generators by expanding on the options available for customizing a randomly generated character.

Artifacts of the Ancient Ones is a fan created website, dedicated to the Mutant Crawl Classics role-playing system. Created by the talented Jim Wampler, Mutant Crawl Classics tailors the ‘old school’ game mechanics of Dungeon Crawl Classics to a far future post apocalypse game world, filled with mutants, artifacts, and lost technologies.
