Mutant Crawl Classics Healer Character Generator Version 4

 

 

Healers are pure strain humans who follow the ways of healing and have an in-depth understanding of the healing properties of local plants and herbs. Healers also possess a knack for understanding the medical devices of the Ancient Ones and operate such devices with an one up die bonus on the dice chain. As with the other pure strain human classes, healers are blessed with Darwinian Luck, and can recover spent luck points at a rate of 1 luck point each day.

 

 

 

 

Healer Character Sheet (Version 4)

 

 

 

The newest iteration (version 4) of the Mutant Crawl Classics Healer Character Generator has launched and is available on Pathways to the Ancient Ones; a website dedicated to Jim Wampler’s Mutant Crawl Classics role-playing game.  The new Healer Character Generator builds on the previous iteration (version 3) by adding additional functionality, which includes a new random name generator and the option for customizing ability scores.

Pathways to the Ancient Ones is a fan created website, dedicated to the Mutant Crawl Classics role-playing system.  Created by the talented Jim Wampler, Mutant Crawl Classics tailors the ‘old school’ game mechanics of Dungeon Crawl Classics to a far future post apocalypse game world, filled with mutants, artifacts, and lost technologies.

Dungeon Crawl Classics: Mighty Deeds and Old School Adventures

 

 

In late 2016, I created Dwarves, Warriors & Mighty Deeds, an RPG fan site dedicated Goodman Games’ Dungeon Crawl Classics role-playing system.  The process of designing Dwarves, Warriors & Mighty Deeds was a great learning process as it allowed me to develop my coding, Photoshop (graphics), photography, and miniature painting skills.  Dwarves, Warriors & Mighty Deeds features character generators for the seven core Dungeon Crawl Classics (DCC) character classes, and a zero-level character generator for the DCC Character Funnel (which takes place at the start of a new campaign).  Over the years, as my coding skills improved, I created new iterations of the character generators.  I decided to launch a new iteration of the DCC fan site: Mighty Deeds and Old School Adventures.  While Dwarves, Warriors & Mighty Deeds features miniatures I painted and photographed, Mighty Deeds and Old School Adventures digital artwork I drew.

DCC Zero-Level Character Generator.  One of the defining features of Goodman Games’ Dungeon Crawl Classic series of role-playing games are the Character Funnels.  In the Character Funnels, Players create several zero-level characters (i.e., 4 zero-level characters per Player).  By the end of the funnel, most of the zero-level characters will perish.  Typically, a Player will have one of their zero-level characters survive, who will become the Player’s character in the upcoming adventures.

Zero-Level Character Sheets.  The character sheets were designed in Photoshop using a drawing tablet and pen.  My goal in designing the character sheets was to create a hand-drawn ‘old school’ look for the character sheets, akin to the sketches one might find in the margins of character sheets and game books from years gone by.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mighty Deeds and Old School Adventures is an RPG fan site dedicated to Goodman Games’ Dungeon Crawl Classics (DCC) role-playing system.  The website is designed to provide Judges (Game Masters) and Players with resources and materials for their DCC campaigns.
