Dungeon Crawl Classics Elf Character Generator Version 3

Dungeon Crawl Classics Elf Character Generator Version 3

Elves are magical demi-humans, whose lives span several centuries. Elves have an affinity for nature and are skilled in both martial and magical arts. Thus, it is a common sight to see an Elf wielding a blade or bow in combat, while using a spell book to cast magic. While Elves possess many natural gifts, their one true weakness is their vulnerability to iron; prolonged exposure to iron will create a burning sensation, causing injury to the Elf.

The last of the new Dungeon Crawl Classics Character Generators, the Elf Character Generator Version 3, has launched and is available on Dwarves, Warriors & Mighty Deeds and the Fantastic Adventures & the Disgruntled Gong Farmer Companion Site; two fan sites dedicated to Goodman Games’ Dungeon Crawl Classics role-playing game.  As a way of capturing the ‘Old School’ feel of Dungeon Crawl Classics, I used a drawing tablet to illustrate the character sheet, replicating the style of the sketches found in the RPG gaming books of the past.  As well, I have added more functionality for generating a random Elf, which includes options for selecting a Supernatural Patron and generating the Elf’s familiar.

Prime Numbers

Prime Numbers.  This will be my final post for 2020 and the 137th post for this year.  137 is a prime number and the digits that make up 137 are prime numbers (1, 3 and 7).  When the first two digits are combined, they make a prime number (13).  Likewise, when the last two digits are combined, they make another prime number (37).  When the first two digits and the last two digits are combined in the reverse order, they make prime numbers as well (73 and 31).  Moreover, when the first (1) and last (7) digits are combined, they make a prime number (17); when combined in reverse, they make another prime number (71).  Anyways, I may have gone a little off course with this fact about prime numbers.  It was something I found interesting ;)

Dwarves, Warriors and Mighy Deeds: A DCC Fan Site

Dwarves, Warriors and Mighty Deeds is dedicated to Goodman Games’ Dungeon Crawl Classics role-playing system.  Dungeon Crawl Classics is a modern role-playing game that captures the ‘old school’ feel of the early iterations (1970s) of the ‘World’s Most Famous Role-Playing Game’.

Fantastic Adventures and the Disgrunted Gong Farmer

Fantastic Adventures and the Disgruntled Gong Farmer Companion Website is a site dedicated to the third-party Dungeon Crawl Classics Adventure module of the same name and contains the following three adventures: The King’s Challenge, Kobolds Stole My Cat! and the Gong Farmer’s Revenge.  This module is available for free (as a PDF) through DriveThru RPG.
