Valhallan Ice Warriors (Astra Militarum): Part 4

Hailing from the frozen Ice World of Valhalla, Valhallan Ice Warriors are a hardy breed of men and women, renown for their stoicism and dedication to the God-Emperor. Known for their courage and stubbornness, Valhallan Ice Warrior have a reputation of never retreating or surrendering, even when faced with overwhelming odds.

I finished painting the first half of a Valhallan Ice Warriors squad, which includes a meltagun operator (special weapons trooper) and four Ice Warriors with lasguns.  The Valhallan Ice Warriors are a World War 2 Soviet Army inspired Imperial Guard army introduced in 1994, during the second edition of the game.  In the next post of this series, I will be focuses on the remaining five models in this squad.

For more images of these miniatures, please visit the Valhallan Ice Warriors section of the Old Guard; a website dedicated to Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40K miniatures, with a focus on the classic range of Imperial Guard models from the 1990s.
