Foul
heretics, who were once loyal servants of the Golden Throne, Khorne Traitor
Guardsmen worship Khorne, the Chaos God of blood, murder and war. Like other
traitorous Imperial Guard regiments, Khorne Traitor Guardsmen are a notch above
the rank-and-file cultist trooper, possessing the tactics, knowledge and
training of the Imperial Guard.

I
did some ‘kit bashing’ to build five Khorne Traitor Guardsmen using components
from a variety of kits. I used the
Cadian Shock Troops kit for the bodies and weapons; Wargames Factory’s Shock
Troopers sprue for the heads; and components from Frostgrave’s Cultist sprue
for the artifacts/gear carried by these troopers. For the sergeant, I added a metal Commissar’s
chainsword, and used some epoxy putty (green stuff) to mold a shoulder pad for
the chainsword arm.
