Once loyal
servants of the God-Emperor, Traitor Guardsmen are Imperial Guardsmen, who have
fallen to the lure of Chaos. Heretics in the truest sense, Traitor Guardsmen
serve the Dark Chaos Gods, bringing their knowledge of Imperial doctrine,
training and expertise to the mass ranks of Chaos.

I
finished ‘kit bashing’ five Traitor Guardsmen, using components from a variety
of manufacturers. The bodies and weapons
are from the Cadian Shock Troopers kit and the heads are from Wargames Factory’s
Shock Troopers kit (this kit is no longer in production). As well, to represent the heretical artifacts
and personal items Chaos Guardsmen would carry on them, components from Games
Workshop’s Flagellants kit and the Frostgrave Cultists kit were used.
