A late addition to the Red Army, the ZSU-37s were first introduced in the final months of the war (only a handful of ZSU-37s were operational by the end of the war). The ZSU-37, short for Zenitnaya Samokhodnaya Ustanovka 37 (Russian for ‘Anti-Aircraft Self-Propelled Mount’ 37), was a self-propelled anti-aircraft gun that mounted a 37 mm Automatic Air Defense Gun M1939 (61-K) on the chassis of a SU-76M Self Propelled Gun (the SU-76M was based on the chassis of the T-70 light tank).
The STL files for the ZSU-37 Self-Propelled Anti-Aircraft Gun were downloaded from MarkeBot’s Thingiverse and this model was designed by m_bergman. I used a Creality Ender Pro 3 to print this model.
I 3D printed the components to build a single ZSU-37 Self-Propelled Anti-Aircraft Gun and used Vallejo Military Green as the primary colour for this model. I applied Soviet decals to the sides of the ZSU-37.
The images below are found in the Russian Armour II section of Citizen Soldiers: A 1/72 scale World War 2 Model Site.
Citizen Soldiers: A 1/72 scale World War 2 Model Site is devoted to the hobby of painting and collecting World War 2 models/miniatures. It is my hope, through creating this website, to honour the men and women who served in the Second World War, whose sacrifices and courage have given us the freedom and quality of life we have today.
