3D Printed Star Wars ‘Fat’ Buddhas: Part 2

Thingiverse Star Wars 'Fat' Buddhas

“It’s the ship that made the Kessel run in less than twelve parsecs. I’ve outrun Imperial starships. Not the local bulk cruisers, mind you. I’m talking about the big Corellian ships, now. She’s fast enough for you, old man.”

-Han Solo

Mumm-Ra has designed the STL files for a collection of Star Wars ‘fat Buddhas’, which are available to download from MakerBot’s Thingiverse website.  There are 13 ‘Fat Buddhas’ in total, featuring different characters from the Star Wars universe.  In an earlier post, I painted two of these ‘Fat Buddhas’: Darth Vader and Master Yoda.  I have finished painting two more ‘Fat Buddhas’: C3PO and an Imperial Stormtrooper.

I scaled both models to 50% of their original sizes and used a Creality Ender Pro 3 to print these models.  Afterwards, I glued the models to round 50 mm Reaper Miniatures bases and applied modelling sand to the bases.
