In this blog post I will be exploring the contents of the Bastogne December 1944 Diorama Set; a 1/72 scale set produced by Italeri. The Battle of Bastogne, popularized by Steven Spielberg’s Band of Brothers miniseries, was part of the Ardennes Counteroffensive, commonly named the Battle of the Bulge, which occured from December 16, 1944 to January 25, 1945. The Ardennes Counteroffensive was the last major German offensive on the Western Front.
The Bastogne December 1944 Diorama Set contains the following model kits and accessories:
