The Sherman M4A3 is the fourth version of the M4 Sherman tank; the M4A3 has a welded hull and is powered by a Ford GAA V8 gasoline engine. The M4A3(75)W is armed with a 75mm medium-velocity general-purpose gun and uses 'wet' ammunition bins to store the 75 mm rounds. Italeri produces a 1/72 scale (20mm) ‘fast assembly’ Sherman M4A3 75mm kit, which allows you to build two M4A3(75)W tanks.
As a way of making each tank look unique, I added logs and tank stowage components to one of the tanks. These pieces produced by Value Gear, a company specializing in resin military model bits.
