Trained in martial combat and warfare, fighters form the front lines of the adventuring party, protecting the unarmoured spell-casters from attacks. Fighters can wear heavy armour and used all types of weapons. While all the playable character races in the Advanced Edition Companion ruleset can be fighters, humans are the only playable race that have an unlimited level limit as fighters.

A new iteration of the Labyrinth Lord Advanced Companion Fighter Character Generator Version 2 has launched, and is available on Adventurer’s Portal, a fan sited dedicated to Goblinoid Games’ Labyrinth Lord role-playing game. The updated Fighter Character Generator includes more options for customizing the randomly generated character; these new features includes randomly generated character names, optional starting ages, and the use of drop-down menus to customize individual ability scores.
