The Plastic Soldier Company produces a 1/72 scale (20mm) set of World War 2 Russian Infantry Heavy Weapons. The figures are highly detailed and cast in hard plastic. The box set contain three sprues of 13 figures (39 figures in total); each sprue contains the following miniatures:
- 1 x Maxim Machine Gun (PM M1910) Team firing (2 soldiers)
- 1 x Maxim Machine Gun (PM M1910) Team on the move (2 soldiers)
- 1 x 50mm mortar team (2 soldiers)
- 1 x 82mm mortar team (2 soldiers)
- 1 x PTRD-41 anti-tank rifle team firing (2 soldiers)
- 1 x Soldier carrying PTRD-41 anti-tank rifle over his shoulder
- 2 x Soldiers that could be added to the weapon teams.

I painted one of the sprues of Russian Infantry Heavy Weapons sprues, which contains the figures listed above. I used a variety of round bases for these miniatures. While I was impressed with this set, I did, however, have two minor issues. The first is this set did not come with assembly instructions (the sprues were sold in a bag with a header card). Assembly instruction would have been helpful as all of the heavy weapon teams required some level of assembly. The second was the maxim machine gun team (firing) did not have an ammo belt or box.
