Welcome to the days of old… to a time when adventurers were ordinary people, who took up this dangerous calling to accumulate hordes of treasure from monster filled dungeons. But be warned, adventuring is truly a dangerous profession here; dungeons are filled with deadly traps and even deadlier monsters. Most adventurers will perish on their first few adventures; those that survive have learnt the importance of knowing when to fight, when to run and when to rely on hirelings to get the job done. Take a step forward, if you dare, and enter a world of exotic dragons, talking cats and hungry ghosts with unending appetites… take a step forward and enter the world of 'White Box Eastern Adventures Advanced Edition.'
Welcome to the official White Box Eastern Adventures Advanced Edition site, an Old School Renaissance/Revival (OSR) role-playing game inspired by the first incarnation of the 'World's Most Famous Role-Playing Game'. Set in a fantasy world influenced by Medieval Japanese mythology, White Box Eastern Adventures Advanced Edition builds on the simple game-play mechanics of the White Box: Eastern Adventures, while maintaining the OSR 'rule-light' feel of system.
Thecompanion website for White Box Eastern Adventures Advanced Edition has launched. White Box Eastern Adventures Advanced Edition is an Old School Revival/Renaissance (OSR) system I am working on that builds on an earlier system I created, White Box: Eastern Adventures, by adding on a few new gameplay mechanics while keeping the ‘rules light’ OSR feel of the system. I am hoping to release White Box Eastern Adventures Advanced Edition later this year, making the book available as a Free PDF on DriveThruRPG, with options for purchasing an affordably priced printed version of the book.
