Role-Playing Game (RPG) Random Name Generator

The Random Name Generator is an RPG tool designed to generate lists of randomly generated names, providing Game Masters with the means of producing lists of names for random NPCs, townsfolk, villagers, rank-and-file foot soldiers, etc., their Players may encounter during the game session. These names are from real world examples based on different nations and ethnic groups; the given names are from 50 distinct countries/ethnic groups and the surnames from 38 distinct groups. The data used by the Random Name Generator comes from familyeducation.com, a new family resource website containing valuable information on family planning and the origins of baby names.

I recently built an RPG Random Name Generator, a tool designed to provide Games Masters with the ability to generate lists of random names for the various NPCs their characters will encounter on their adventures. The Random Name Generator features drop-down menus, allowing the user to select the ethnic/country origins of the Given Names and Surnames used, the number of names generated, and the gender of the Given Names. The generator features Given Names from 50 distinct nations/ethnic groups and Surnames from 38 groups. The data for the names was obtained from Family Education, a family planning website containing a wealth of information for expecting parents.
