Dungeon & Dragon Miniatures: Board Game Miniatures Part 4

Board Game Miniatures

My previous three posts featured 28/32 mm scale board game miniatures I painted for my Dungeon & Dragon games.  Since my last post, I have painted more miniatures.  Many board game manufacturers produce high-quality miniatures ideal for representing characters and monsters on the tabletop.

Large Abomination: Unpainted

Large Abomination: Based & Flocked

Large Abomination: Painted

I am not sure which board game the large abominations are from.  The 3’ x 3’ square ‘footprint’ of these figures makes them ideal for size ‘huge’ aberrations on the tabletop.

Female Androids: Unpainted

Female Androids: Painted

The female androids are from the Sine Tempore board game.  I painted these miniatures with a blue skin tone to represent aquatic humanoids (i.e. naiads, nereids, etc.).

Alien Insect Crawlers: Unpainted

Alien Insect Crawlers: Painted

The alien insect crawlers have a generic ‘alien bug’ look and could represent low-level insect/arachnid threats characters could encounter in dark forests, sewers, etc.

Female Halfling Alchemists: Unpainted

Female Halfling Alchemists: Painted

I believe the halfling alchemists are from one of the D&D board games.  The miniatures are on a smaller scale (~20 mm).  These miniatures will could be used as proxies for townsfolk children on the tabletop.

Call of Cthulhu Monsters: Unpainted

These miniatures are from the Cthulhu Wars board game.  These miniatures could represent size ‘large’ aberrations on the tabletop.

Call of Cthulhu Plant Horror: Unpainted

Call of Cthulhu Plant Horror: Painted

The ‘plant horror’ is from the Cthulhu Wars board game and could represent Corpse Flowers and other such carnivorous plants on the tabletop.

Call of Cthulhu Massive Plant Monstrosity: Unpainted

Call of Cthulhu Massive Plant Monstrosity: Painted

This miniature is from the Cthulhu Wars board game.  The large ‘footprint’ (roughly 3’ x 3’) makes this miniature ideal both as a terrain piece and a size ‘huge’ aberration.

Zombicide Orcs: Unpainted

Zombicide Orcs: Painted

The orcs are from the Zombicide Green Hordes board game and work well for representing rank-and-file goblinoids on the tabletop.

Werewolf Clergy: Unpainted

I love the creativity that when into designing the werewolves.  The concept of werewolf clerics is so original.

Dungeon & Dragon Miniatures: Board Game Miniatures Part 3

Board Game Miniatures

My previous posts featured board game miniatures I painted for my D&D games.  Since my last post, I painted some more board game miniatures.  Many board game manufacturers produce high-quality 28/32 mm scale miniatures, providing excellent options for finding affordable and durable miniatures for the tabletop.  eBay is an excellent source for finding these miniatures.

Fireteam Zero Large Undead: Unpainted

Fireteam Zero Large Undead: Painted

The above miniatures are from the Fireteam Zero board game, and could represent Minotaur Skeletons, Ogre Zombies, and other large-size undead humanoids on the tabletop.

Cthulhu Human Cultists: Unpainted

Cthulhu Human Cultists: Painted

The human cultists are from the Cthulhu Wars board game.  These miniatures have a generic cultist-look, making them ideal for representing dark cultists and other nefarious rank-and-file spellcasters on the tabletop.

Ankh Warriors: Unpainted

Ankh Warriors: Painted

The above Ancient Egypt inspired fantasy miniatures are from the Ankh Gods of Egypt board game.

Dual Wielding Warriors: Unpainted

Dual Wielding Warriors: Painted

I am not exactly sure which board game the dual-wielding human warriors are from.  The aesthetics of these miniatures are of an ancient world look (i.e. the Spartan warriors of Ancient Greece).

Zombicide Ghosts: Unpainted

Zombicide Ghosts: Painted

The above miniatures are ghosts from the Zombicide Board Game.  These miniatures could be used to represent various spectral undead (i.e. shades, wraiths, etc.) on the tabletop.

Call of Cthulhu: Unpainted

Call of Cthulhu: Painted

This miniature is from the Call of Cthulhu board game and could represent an avatar of an evil god on the tabletop.

Headless Undead: Unpainted

Headless Undead: Painted

I am not sure which board game the headless undead are from.  I like the creativity that went into the concept of undead carrying their severed heads into battle.  This miniature has an ‘Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman’ vibe.
